Sport and cultural exchanges help to broaden the horizons of our students.
Taranaki Dio currently has two annual winter sports exchanges with schools within the Lower North Island. We host these on a yearly home and away basis.
We are delighted to have a sister school Yuhigaoka Guken located in Osaka, Japan where girls from both schools spend time in their sister school on a learning exchange.
All girls over the age of 16 can either undertake an exchange for a year or for a minimum of six weeks. Whilst speaking Japanese would be an advantage, it is not essential for girls who wish to experience another culture.
