Taranaki Diocesan swaps open day for Virtual Tour
A planned open day at a local school has been swapped for a virtual tour while students learn at home….
Established in 1914 we are a boarding and day secondary school for fostering successful learners, resolute women, and courageous leaders.
We provide a tailored learning environment where every girl matters. Excellent teacher-to-student ratios, passionate staff , lifelong friendships, endless opportunities for leadership and academic excellence, and a culture that provides a true family away from home.
The Taranaki Dio graduate is skilled and capable. And, more importantly, is resilient and grounded —ready to make a difference in her world.
We are a boutique and welcoming school for girls, fostering mighty women.
Our day girl roll across the whole school is currently at full capacity. There are however some boarding vacancies for Year 10-Year 13 students.
If you would like a prospectus package sent to you, or you would like to discuss the possibility of enrolment at Taranaki Dio now or in the future please do not hesitate contact the school office.
Eva was a Taranaki representative team member and played for her schools, St Josephs Opunake, and then for St Mary’s Diocesan School in Stratford, where she boarded for five years. Eva left New Zealand not long after her 18th birthday, to begin a basketball scholarship at Western Nebraska Community College in the centre of the United States.
