Our chapel is at the heart of the school where we nurture our girls to care for themselves, for others and for the planet.
Opportunities to develop servant leadership skills both in school and the wider community start from Year 9 and range from collection for charities through to delivering Meals on Wheels, donating blood and fundraising for local and global projects.
Our school is Anglican faith based however we welcome families of all faiths. Our chaplain is a key member of our pastoral team supporting girls and their families through their crucial teenage years.
Chapel services, often led by the girls, are held weekly. Our girls are provided with a range of opportunities to grow their servant leadership skills by attending a variety of conferences and camps through the Anglican Schools Community.
The Anglican faith is informed by the Anglican five marks of mission:
To proclaim the good news of the Kingdom
To teach, baptise and nurture the new believers
To respond to human needs by loving service
To seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and to pursue peace and reconciliation
To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth
