The Big Sister/Little Sister Mentoring Programme aims to ease new boarders into the boarding house environment by matching Year 13 Big Sisters with Year 9 Little Sisters.
The Big Sisters help and guide their Little Sisters through their first few weeks as newcomers to the school, and often become lifelong friends.
Before the school year starts, new girls receive a welcome letter from their Big Sister who, at the start of term, is on-hand to help their Little Sister adjust to life in a boarding house. Social events and the knowledge that there are lots of friendly ears to turn to, all make the move away from home a little easier for our youngest boarders.
